09.01.2022 Run for the Reef Update Hi everyone! Hope all your running goals are coming to fruition. Thank you for your patience. Quick update. We continue to work with the Federal Government and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and hope to be able to confirm by the end of August our plans to operate both a 2020 March CityRun for the Reef in Cairns, part of a 20 city national event and a 2020 May Great Barrier Reef Running Festival in Port Douglas. We thank everyone for their patience and look forward to updating you again shortly. Cheers

The Run for the Great Barrier Reef Research Fund was established in 2014 in a partnership between the Tropical Journeys Great Barrier Reef Marathon Festival and James Cook University. From each registration in the Steve Moneghetti Marathon and the Sheraton Mirage Grand Resort Half Marathon, $20 is donated directly to the fund. To date, we have raised over $100,000. ...
