25.01.2022 Recently, we were honoured to be asked to design the bee attracting plantings for these beautiful seating installations by Sarah Winter @adventuresofwinter for @westvillage_brisbane in response to their Village Bees month. It aimed at celebrating bees and acknowledging the role they play in our everyday lives and what we can do to help support an eco system they will thrive in. 24.01.2022 Another great collab building for @cjames_landscapedesign Stone steps we laid have worked out a treat. They are planted with Salvias, Daisies, ground covers, other flowers and fruit trees. So this should be super soft and pretty moving down the slope. 13.01.2022 Super useful idea when planning your block. We should all be thinking about including more green space in our urban blocks instead of filling every square inch with rooms you'll never go into and impermeable surfaces. Think about creating habitat, rain gardens or planting some trees then put a little table under them to sink some tubes or pour a pot o' tea - perfect. This creates a cooler environment, will have a positive impact on your health and property price and aids in stopping run off, to mention a few benefits.

07.01.2022 One of our horticulturists, Kate, took this photo of some pots we planted out for a roof top garden next to a pool for @ariapropertygroup They cop the wind, sun and salt spray off the pool good n proper so we had to use plants that would withstand it. You have to give them a good rinse every couple of weeks to wash any salt off and to wash it through the soil but they seem pretty happy. We use a seaweed solution to help keep them happy as well and slow release fertiliser. Y...ou really can have purdies in most places if you give them a little love. 06.01.2022 That's pretty well a wrap for our Highgate Hill courtyard. We've incorporated some pretty fun old varieties of plants to suit this gorgeous 1901 lady. Rondeletias, Day lillies from Maleny, Salvias, Bulbines, Stokesia and many more. Its so tranquil sitting on the bench, listening to the water and watching the birds and bees discover the flowers. So beautiful working on a project like this to help families watch out for one another, particularly in this climate. Also, you don't see gates into neighbours properties much anymore, so that's fun. 04.01.2022 Just finished doing some maintenance on this garden we put in around 4 years ago. Keep in mind a lot of this was 140mm pots or 200mm pots. Unbelievable. It's really hitting its stride now. The idea was to create a subtropical rainforest around the front stairs and now it feels like you could be living in the hills in the Northern Rivers. The Brachychiton discolor is looking stunning!
