25.01.2022 We love this advice from Lifeline Canberra! Did you know Lifeline Canberra have been with GreaterGood since 2011? We love working with Canberra charities and making a difference in our community

24.01.2022 GreaterGood would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You! 2020 has challenged us all in a ways we would never have expected. Fire, floods, hail, virus, isolation, hardship, heartbreak and everything in between. This year has shown us how strong and resilient our community is and we are so proud to be part of it. So take this time, if you can, to recharge the batteries and refill the cups. We will come out of this stronger and more resilient for the future. ... Wishing you and yours a relaxing and rejuvenating end of year break and looking forward to a successful and positive 2021.

21.01.2022 We're all starting to feel a little anxious about the novel coronavirus but we can be proactive and help to stop the spread of the virus with regular hand-washing and a little jingle from The Wiggles

14.01.2022 On this day, International Day of the Older Person, we celebrate by launching our #ReimaginingAgeing campaign. For the month of October we are encouraging Canbe...rra people to really think about ageing and the aged in our community. After recent issues associated with COVID and senior people feeling isolated, we want the Canberra community put themselves in the shoes of an older person and support our older community members. Take the time to get to know your older neighbours or other seniors in your community. Ask them about their life. Reach out to make a new friend, ask a question, join in on community activities, share a recipe, borrow some sugar, make tea for two and celebrate ageing. For more information about #ReimaginingAgeing activities and events, visit the Council on the Ageing ACT website. https://www.cotaact.org.au///a-month-of-reimaginingageing/

10.01.2022 SENIORS Week, which was scheduled to start on Monday (March 23) has been postponed due to coronavirus, says Jenny Mobbs, CEO of the Council on the Ageing ACT (C...OTA). ACT Seniors Week will now be celebrated on September 14-20. We need to be guided by the government to ensure people’s safety, says Jenny. We will postpone Seniors Week until spring and hope to work it in with Floriade, to make it a big seniors event, she says.
