23.01.2022 Happy Easter, Everyone, from all the team at Greater Heights! Thank you for being part of Term 1, 2021! Enjoy the break and stay safe - Humphrey and I have decided to catch up on some DIY tasks - he loves dropping in to Bunnings for supplies.

19.01.2022 'Tis the Season to... Introduce Humphrey! Humphrey is our Therapy Dog in Training and will join the team at Greater Heights Therapy Services later in 2021 when he is fully qualified. Humphrey is a Standard Groodle and is nearly 4 months' old. He adores popping in to the clinic for short visits and can't wait until he is allowed to spend more time with our clients and our staff - he LOVES 'hoomans' - especially small ones. Meanwhile, he is fascinated by his first Christmas - there is usually a fence around this Christmas tree! Enjoy the festive season, everyone! (P.S. We are open until Thursday 17th December).

18.01.2022 Here is some clarity for us all. Allied Health services are to continue and you are allowed to leave your home to attend appointments even if you have been in the Greater Brisbane area (the same as Brisbane residents) - we just ask that you let us know. Please cancel your appointment if you or your child feel unwell. Above all, stay safe!

14.01.2022 We are excited to welcome Anna Morgan to the Greater Heights team! Anna is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over a decade's experience in both paediatric and adult dietetics. Her interest areas include helping children and adults reach a healthy weight through intuitive eating (non-diet approach), helping children achieve great nutrition - especially fussy eaters and those with sensory issues, and treating clients with digestive issues such as IBS, Coeliac Disease and ...constipation etc. Anna has additional qualifications in SOS, Low FODMAP diet, and eating disorders. Anna can also provide dietary advice for a wide range of conditions such as allergies, intolerances, malnutrition, specific paediatric dietary issues, chronic disease (e.g. diabetes, high cholesterol, chronic renal disease), wound healing, and much more. In her spare time Anna loves spending time with her young family, bushwalking, growing vegetables, and eating delicious food. Anna grew up in Dalby before leaving her hometown to attend university in Brisbane. Anna graduated in 2008 and then returned to the Darling Downs 8 years ago where she has practised dietetics in a wide range of positions. 09.01.2022 Greater Heights Therapy Services is up, up and away! After 16 years as LJH Speech Pathology, Dr Lisa Hudson, Speech Pathologist, has renamed and relocated. You will now find Lisa's friendly, professional services at Willows Health and Lifestyle Centre, 55-57 Kitchener Street, South Toowoomba (Ph: 4638 8596). Lisa is joined by two experienced, passionate team Members: Chelsea Hasted - Paediatric Occupational Therapist, and Karla Morison - Speech Pathologist. Our vision is to offer current interventions that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual client. 07.01.2022 Teens have been having a blast at the Greater Heights Club each Friday. It's all about the food, fun, and friendship. Growing and picking real food is also a big hit - Club members can't wait to see how the garden will change over the coming months. We are taking enrolments for the next Greater Heights Club intake. The Club is designed for teens with ASD and/or Intellectual Impairment. The program is designed by an experienced multidisciplinary team to address the specific goals of Club members.
