23.01.2022 Did my first ocean race today, also my first proper ocean paddle at that too. at about the halfway mark I was starting to learn how to catch some of the waves and link the runs, but towards the end it all got a bit choppy and rough and it was just a matter of making it to the finish line. This morning Anthony brought down his intermediate ski to Coomera lakes to meet Robert who after 35 years has the paddle bug again. After a wobbly start Robert quickly started looking more comfortable.

10.01.2022 Race report Gregory 2021 This may be a bit long winded but it could have been far more comprehensive , so swings and roundabouts. The road trip from Brisbane to Gregory River began on 24 April, the car was full, two TK1s on the roof and the fridge working overtime. We were tenting it so travel was reasonably quick.
