24.01.2022 Employer Interviewers Wanted YMCA Mini Jobs Fair Tuesday 10th November We are seeking 15 Employers who may volunteer their time to attend an Interview Session format for young jobseekers. ... The exercise is to improve and bolster participant interviewees with the experience of talking with adults who are prospective employers. You might attend whether you have positions to fill now or soon. Or simply because you'd like to help support this endeavour to guide our youth. Interviews will be approximately 5 minutes before a short interchange to the next interviewer. Our general duration will be 90 minutes overall to accommodate, between 3:30 and 5:00 pm. Participants may finish the session with the prospect of a job. On the day we will support and encourage employers to engage participants at the end of the session with the suggestion of follow-ups for further formal interviews, a trial, or a direct start in a position. For the morale of all attending, it will not be a competitive forum, to ensure success is enjoyed primarily by participation itself.
