22.01.2022 A couple for your interest today: Parrotia persica - Persian Ironwood A Deciduous small tree growing to 7m high and 5m wide. Wonderful Autumn tones at the moment. It is native to Northern Iran and a relatively hardy form of the Witchhazel family that makes a striking addition to any garden that gets a touch of Winter chill. Part shade to full sun.... Pseudopanax lessonii 'Gold Splash' A showy evergreen shrub with rich variegated foliage growing to 3m with a 2m spread. Coloured leaves of green, lime and yellow make an impressive display. Great for patios and borders. Tolerant of light frosts and windy conditions, part shade and full sun. Introduced to Australia from New Zealand by one of our suppliers, Yamina Rare Plants.
