09.01.2022 Handy article for anyone that may have a child that is a little bit anxious about returning to school tomorrow. I talk about noticing any anxiety in your body first of all- it might appear as knots in the stomach or a tightness in the chest- and then learning to breathe into it. I talk to my students about imaging the knot as a big ball of energy and when we learn to breathe into it, it will eventually start to relax and soften. It's a simple technique that will help calm any back to school nerves! Don't underestimate the power of your breath!
