05.01.2022 Northern River's good boy Buddy has run the equivalent of Sydney to the Gold Coast, without leaving his farm, to win a national working dog challenge! The t...hree-week competition saw dogs from each state wear GPS collars to track their distance, speed and time spent working. Buddy worked 98 hours during that time and ran 835kms to beat out 11 others to be named top dog. "I don't think of my dogs just as working dogs - they're like part of the family because they're on the team and help you every day," owner and Copmanhurst cattle farmer Glenda Rogan said. Show us the best helpers at your place!

01.01.2022 EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY And that's a wrap for the iconic Great Nundle Dog Race for 2019. Around 600 plus dogs, and 1500 humans attended the day, which saw Bill, a golden kelpie from Armidale, crowned top dog and an estimated $10,000 raised - which will go to the Nundle Public School P&C. Thank you to all participants - canine and human - and spectators for joining in/making the journey to picturesque Nundle for a great day of action and laughter. There were thrills and spills ...on and off the track and plenty of cheering in the Dog Singing, Dog Racing and multitude of other hilarious events. A huge congratulations to the team of volunteers for putting in so much effort behind the scenes - ensuring everyone had a safe and fun day. Here's to another terrific fundraiser event for the Nundle Public School - well done to the P&C! Thank you to all the sponsors and those who donated, time, ideas and input. Enjoy the photo's and we look forward to another highlight event event next year - where every dog has its day. Sally Alden Photography #nundlensw See more
