18.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE- SWIM ACROSS THE FLOW OF RIPS Summer is here, keep an eye out for rips and remember swim sideways across that rip to get out of it. I saw these images on another post that I couldn’t share so I thought I would just send it on. Hopefully someone remembers this and makes it safely back to the beach. the safest return is in the breaking waves (no rips there)

17.01.2022 TRAFFIC WARNING for Great Ocean Road Our clients are telling us that the great ocean road is extremely busy today, with cars backed up most of the way to our driveway from Anglesea. Also the ones coming down from Melbourne are saying that the Melbourne traffic is pretty bad as well. Maybe add an hour to your travel time if you’re coming down from Melbourne to Anglesea and if you’re looking to go further down maybe add more.

15.01.2022 To all of the evacuees from the fires out east- We sincerely hope you’re all hanging in there and taking whatever steps you can. If anyone has evacuated and has trailer or boat or van in tow and you’d like to leave it somewhere until things calm down we are happy to have it stored at our place - just call us on 0438613962 we are between Torquay and Anglesea and we have a secure yard to keep your gear safe.

15.01.2022 Channel 2 on the security cameras this morning catching this fantastic Zone RV being helped by Janet- no it wasn’t being stolen, just going for a cruise... the multi channel security system sends messages and images to our phones and rings alarms when there’s movement- 35 years and there’s been no thefts.

14.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE The great alpine road through the high country from Bairnsdale and north to Harrietville is closed and to be avoided tomorrow for fire safety, as is the Buchan road. Avoid traveling through for at least 48 hours until reports improve.
