22.01.2022 Most clients get confused and mixed up if they are naming an emotion or a thought. How to know? If you say: I feel... (examples, I am a bad mum/others will judge me/a failure/ect.), most likely you are naming a thought. Emotion is usually one word: I feel sad, disappointed, frustrated, scared... #mentalhealth #psychology #emotionalhealth #emotions #support #feelings #cbt #innerwestsydney #northstrathfield #greatpsycholog

21.01.2022 We have learned about emotions and the purpose. Now that we know more about the main emotions, let's connect emotions and felt body sensations. Take a moment and tune into your body check where and how it feels. You may find it helpful to close your eyes. Take as much time as you like. You can ask your body: "Where do I feel something?" while scanning it from the top of your head through your torso to the toes. No need to describe what youre feeling - just feel.

13.01.2022 I have people asking: when do you know you need relationship counseling. I say when at least one of these red flags occur: * you keep having the same arguments again and again, including financial disagreements * you recall mainly negative memories about your partner and every action of your partner annoys you * you have stopped being intimate and even considering having an affair... * you lead separate lives It is always easier to prevent relationship crisis and solve relationship issues when you have professional support on board.
