24.01.2022 2 days to go, and today we have been busy with finishing final assignments and people are collecting their portfolios from the printers for their final checks before they go on show. We're also busy painting plinths and signs for the set up tomorrow!

22.01.2022 Check out all the photos from last night! A big thank you to Karlo Perisic Photography for being our photographer for the night, and our amazing lecturers for helping us organise this event. Thanks again to everyone who came and celebrated with us, and the lovely Diploma students for volunteering to help out (look out for their work next year)!

20.01.2022 Here is some information about the DeLorean and a little history about it. Everyone who has seen the movie Back To The Future can recognise the Delorean as the iconic car that Doc Brown turned into a time machine. The Delorean or DMC12 named after John Z DeLorean is a very unique car with its brushed stainless steel exterior and its low sleek looks, powered by a fuel injected V6 that sits in the rear. and of course the Gull wing Doors. Strictly a two seater it is not a family... car. They were built in Dunmurry in Ireland for the American market. Originally they were to sell for $12000 US dollars but the final sale price was $25000 US and that was more expensive than some of the best American muscle cars, hence sales were slow and the company hit financial difficulties. There were only nine thousand built before the company was declared bankrupt and it is believed that only seven thousand survive today. This particular one has a very interesting history as it is one of only 12 factory right hand drive models that were built and is considered a very rare collectable and its value is much more than a normal left Hand Drive DeLorean. It was built to as a test vehicle for the right hand drive countries, it was never meant to be anything but a test vehicle but when the factory closed the liquidators sold all the assembled cars at auction. This was one of two cars brought into Australia after the factory closed in late 1982. It was previously owned by the late Maurice Brockwell who was an avid car collector. The car spent much of its life in the Whiteman Park Motor Museum until his daughter decided to sell it. I was lucky enough to be the person who bought it, as a car collector myself this is my most expensive and the rarest car in my collection. It has undergone a lot of work since coming out of the museum and is now fully road registered. - David (owner of the Delorean) **for tonight and tomorrow night only, you can get a photo inside the Delorean for a gold coin donation, with all proceeds to PMH)**
