25.01.2022 Many thanks to all those who participated in the Archery SA State Field Championships at Great Southern Archers. We hope you had a great day and congratulations to all the medal winners. Many thanks to our wonderful judges and helpers who made the day happen. Both the weather and the shooting was wonderful!!!

25.01.2022 Don't forget, our AGM is on today after shooting, followed by a club BBQ for all and Committee Meeting. Positions are vacant, so a great opportunity to get involved and support your club and community. And, the success and positive feedback from the State Field Championships show that GSA definitely punches well above its weight!

20.01.2022 In light of the new COVID-19 restrictions that come into force as of midnight tonight, it looks like all activities for GSA will be suspended. The good news is, you can still shoot 25m indoor tonight at Goolwa. Please register on AD. Please be sensible with COVID-19 cautions. If you are unwell, displaying any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone you suspect might be infected, please stay home and get yourself tested.... Stay safe and well and look after yourselves and your families. All at GSA

16.01.2022 A great day for our Barebow Archers. Archery Australia has finally approved and added the WA50 Barebow Round to Archers Diary. This means that next year's Vera Pennington will be WA registered for the barebow rounds. All barebow archers will now have a chance at World Records and be able to earn WA pins as Barebow Recurve, instead of Olympic Recurve. Time to celebrate!!!

05.01.2022 The GSA Club Championships were washed out today. So, we all spent the morning under cover chinwagging instead.... and it was kinda nice! Good to catch up properly with all our members.

02.01.2022 Just a warning, snakes are out early again this year. Please be snake smart, especially out in the field. Eyes down where you walk. If you come accross one, stand still or slowly back away if safe to do so. The snake prefers to avoid you too!

02.01.2022 A fantastic turnout for today's working bee! A lot of work done replanting natives from the old field front course to make room for our up and coming clout course. So much was achieved today! Thank you to all our hard working busy bees!

01.01.2022 Arrow lube??? That's for whimps!
