15.01.2022 Did you know... A wire fence is able to produce music, it is one of the top ten strangest instruments in the world. Two musicians Jon Rose and Hollis Taylor traveled across australia an performed on all different types of fences to produce different sounds using a violin bow and drum sticks, The surroundings and distance of the fence also contribute to the sound they produced. The album is called "Great Fences of Australia". Jon Rose has also played concerts all of the world by making replicas of real fences.

13.01.2022 Did you know... The Rabbit Proof Fence now known as the state barrier fence, Was established in 1907 as a pest-exclusion fence to keep rabbits and other agricultural pests away from the crops, unfortunately the rabbits had already passed through before no.1 was completed which is why no.2 and no.3 fences were built, currently its main achievement is keeping out the emus. Stretching from north to south across Western Australia, the rabbit proof fence is barbed-wire that runs ...for a total length of 3,256 km combined of all 3 fences. More than 400 men took part in the build along with 300 animals (camels, horses and donkeys) it took 6 years to erect the fence with roughly 1 man given 100 miles to build on there own. Depending on location is depending on what wood was used for the posts, after 100 plus years majority of the posts have now been replaced by steel. It is not the longest fence in the world as some are lead to believe by km(miles) the Dingo fence is actually the longest fence in the world however the rabbit proof fence no.1 is the longest unbroken fence in the world.
