22.01.2022 Today we had our first zoom Greek dance classes. Of course it’s not the same as face to face ..... but at least we connected. Thanks to all students that joine...d in My highlight tonight was after the lesson one of my little students sent me this !!! Sending my love to alI my students! miss you too! Next week I will run the beginners class too ! I hope we can go back to normal very soon. Xxx

10.01.2022 Dear dance families & friends of the " S.V. School of GreeK dance"! Welcome to our 2021 Greek Dance Lessons. I am excited to see our students and of course meet new students in class. All classes recommence from 11th Feb 2021. We are gearing up to a year of growth and cultural projects to unfold shortly.... This year is especially important as in March we will celebrate the 200 years anniversary of Greek Independance 1821-2021. Our school will host a couple events including free dance lessons to each and every person who wants to learn dances and songs directly related to Greek Independance Day. From the dance of "Zallogos" to the famous dance of Kaggileftos from Ierissou where over 400 people were beheaded from Turks during the war leading to 1821 victory. Another highlight is our Asia Minor dance program and our connection with overseas teachers from Asia Minor leading to 100 years commemoration of the Asia Minor Catastrophe. 10.01.2022 We made it through term 3 Covid Safe. Parents and students have co-operated, we sign in and out, take temperatures, sanitise on the way in and on the way out, w...e even wear gloves! Yet we did it! 6pm and 7pm class will continue term 4 in preparation for 2021 events. Our 5pm baby beginners however will be back in 2021. I’m very happy with the hard work my big group is putting in . All kids are looking fantastic This Friday is our last lesson for term 3. See more

01.01.2022 I am pleased to announce that our dance school has an additional teaching member! WELCOME GEORGE ANDRONIS! George Andronis came to Australia in 2014 from Athens. He has been dancing from the age of 5yrs with "SOMATEIO LAIKON EREVNON named NAIATHES" till the age of 25. He also attained his Greek dance diploma from Greece and has a big range of dances from all over Greece in his repertoire. With his dance group he travelled for shows in Germany, Prague, Cyprus and other destinations. Further has taken part in numerous performances and events in Greece over the years. George is also part of a Greek theatre company. It is an honour to have him on board. He will be an asset especially a great role model for all the boys in our school . WELCOME GIORGO!!!!!
