22.01.2022 It has been a hard 2020 for all.. Being away from dance classes, because we can't dance has been hard. I have seen people from around the world try to connect through dance, music and chat around Greek costume and dances, dance instructors offering zoom lessons and workshops, etc to keep themselves occupied! and the minds of their dancers sane!! I'm grateful for the times we have had and happy to find out that soon hopefully, restrictions will lift and people can go back to ...a normal life! If normal now means to sanitise hands every time you greet someone! Covid has impacted on all aspects of life! However, I take a moment to remember those people who are no longer around because of covid - they no longer hear the music or can dance!! So, what I want to say is life is precious, whatever comes our way.. keep dancing always, keep the music going!! Have a safe and great holiday, Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones, take time to meditate, time out to yourselves, your well-being is very important, the fact you have survived 2020 makes you all resilient. I look look forward to more dancing and fun times in 2021. I'm officially signing out till well after the NEW YEAR. I want the time to reconnect with my family and friends and to actually spend time with my wife and just dance!!! Have a Merry Xmas, Have a great New Year... God bless you all.. 11.01.2022 We are ready to kick off our dance classes for Adults Term4 2020. Thursday starting at 7pm at Beverly Hills Girls High School. Enter via Melvin St. We're a Covid Safe Venue, so we ask our dancers to be strict on the following measures: 1. To attend class, you are required to do the following: ... a. Before attending Download the Service NSW app + register b. In the app - you will select Covid safe check in c. Scan the QR code in class d. You're done! 2. Sanitise hands at the beginning of every lesson (will be supplied) and every time you go to the toilet. 3. Keep a 1.5 meter distance from each other 4. No handshakes, hugs, kisses or socialising before or after class. 5. Non-participants/dancers (parents and friends) will need to sit in their car and wait for others to finish class - NO sitting to watch within the venue! 6. Use cough and sneeze etiquette at all times. 6. Feeling sick, flu like symptoms - PLEASE DON'T ATTEND! We are trying to keep everyone safe in our community. 11.01.2022 One of my aims is to keep updating the wikipedia site on Greek Dances. Once this is complete there will be a free page for anyone in the world to access Greek dances information for free and in English.... a journey which has taken more than 5 years... when does one find the free time???
