23.01.2022 Hi All. Our appointment system that we began during Covid is still in place and generally working well. However as most would be aware ,veterinary emergencies occur at any time of the day . Our priority is always to treat an animal in distress or in a threatening situation. As such at times your appointment may be affected . So we ask for your understanding and patience in such times . Our staff do their absolute best - but stuff happens .... You can call before you leave home to see how we are running also 43693943 Thanks so much See more

21.01.2022 Chocolate and Pets. Today as the chocolate coma hits and there are half eaten eggs lying about - don’t panic if your dog has a taste. However it’s best to avoid chocolate as it contains a compound which can be toxic to dogs . In addition eating the foil wrappers can be just as bad. So if your dog has indulged keep an eye 2-4 hours after for vomiting - diarrhoea - general signs of being unwell. In most cases a small amount won’t be a problem but it’s best to offer other Easter treats for your pets. We are open 10-12 today for consultations.43693943

04.01.2022 RIP King Sadly we announce King lost his fight last night. King had a congenital malformation of his palate & bronchial system which led to the pneumonia.... He had the best of veterinary care & was sedated at the time of passing. Thank you for all the community support, love & care. We are all devastated here at SoCares for King & those animals affected by the continual cycle of breeding deformities. IT’S TIME FOR CHANGE
