25.01.2022 Good morning, looking forward to seeing you all shortly for our first day back. There a some subtle changes to the way the debrief will work for the near future and one of those is the fact we don’t have the time slotted to allow for milestones to be formally recognised at that time. However it is a fun and very rewarding aspect to a lot of people’s parkrun journey, so please come forward to the run director this morning and we will get a pic and celebrate on social media. I am certain I know of a young lady doing her 250th today. Don’t forget your fluids also this morning Thanks Wayne ~ RD
25.01.2022 While we all get excited about the return of parkrun we are in need of a finish tokens volunteer and a second barcode scanner. Please let us know if you can. Edit: roster is full for this weekend!!!!

20.01.2022 University of Nottingham researchers are looking for runners of all levels to take part in a study examining how their running habits have changed during the pandemic, and what impact running could have on the virus. Find out more here http://parkrun.me/or5jc
19.01.2022 We hope everyone is staying hydrated in this weather, and please check in on your neighbours to ensure everyone is staying safe and well. We are still in need of a barcode scanner and timekeeper for this weekend if you're keen to find an alternate to running in the warmth. Please comment below or message the page if you're available with your barcode number and preferred position.
18.01.2022 What a fantastic turnout this morning with very healthy numbers and great to see so many happy smiling faces celebrating the return of our community parkrun. 18.01.2022 As we inch closer to relaunch, it’s important to appreciate that the return of parkrun is about the community being able to safely participate in a social 5km event. We ask that people adhere to the COVid guidelines, stay home if feeling unwell, socially distance at the start and as much as we have missed each other do not remain gathered for extended periods of time. Some rules remain the same:... * u11 must be within arm’s reach, * prams welcome, * no scooters/bikes etc, * one dog per person on a lead, and * cannot have pram and dog. See more
17.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that backed up for second parkrun in two days today. My apologies for neglecting to thank our awesome volunteers during the brief today. parkrun could not run without volunteers, the jobs are not difficult and there's always someone to help so if you would like to help out and spread the load so that some of the regular volunteers can get a chance to run, please come and see us and add your name to the volunteer roster. 04.01.2022 One of the big changes you’ll see in order to comply with COVid is that our key container and barcode box will no longer exist. 02.01.2022 Greenbank parkrun event #125 Saturday December 26th
02.01.2022 Unfortunately with the rain earlier this week the course is flooded again and therefore the painful decision has been made to cancel the event again this week. Please remember to check the cancellation notices and remain vigilant of any COVID restrictions that may remain in place. https://www.parkrun.com.au/cancellations/
01.01.2022 As we edge closer to Nov 28 we might be apprehensive about returning to parkrun. Things will look a little different, but not scary, it’s all about getting out and getting active. Please remain patient with volunteers and remember, without them we can’t operate.
