24.01.2022 Wednesday, 9th August... We had a great time playing wide games with the Marsden cubs. Lots of fun was had by all.

23.01.2022 15-17th September was a huge weekend for most of us. The Rovers motto is 'Service' and as a crew that's exactly what we lived up to as we worked together on the weekend, while we helped clean up a property out at Beaudesert where we held our Crew Camp but then ended up traveling to Agoonoree for a late Sunday night. Sunday night was the Rover activities night in which we provided some fun games for the guest and their patrols. Overall, it was a tiring but very enjoyable weekend for both us and the patrols at Agoonoree with lots of fun moments created over the duration of the weekend.

22.01.2022 We actually learnt stuff last night... basic car knowledge thanks to Baggy for your time to talk to us about what makes our cars go vroom haha #ssbb #carknowledge #notsobasicstuff #tyrerotations #service #jackthatcar #screwthenuts #loweritgently #popthebonnet #removedtamsheadlight

21.01.2022 Thursday the 7th of March the Greenbank Rovers went and visited the Greenbank Rural Fire Brigade to learn a bit about the life of a volunteer fire fighter. We all learnt something new and had fun doing it. Hope to have another night with them in the near future.

19.01.2022 20th September, Sam programmed the night based around her last task to complete her BP award; where we all learnt a little more about mental health as we had a few small decision based on our knowledge of mental health as well as ways to assist others to seek help from a number of sources out there... overall, I feel that everyone enjoyed the night and went home with something new they had learnt that night.

19.01.2022 Tonight we all got our running feet on and stayed active as we played a basic game of cricket.

18.01.2022 On Thursday 7th September, Rovers helped to deliver a program to complete the Cubs Bronze Silver and Gold science bagde objectives. We did this by looking at states of mater with water, dry ice and cornstrach slime. Oxygen usage and deperevation by pouring carbon dioxide on lit candles and watching them go out as well as generating hydrogen gas via electrolysis and then igniting the gas to reform water. Overall it was a fun and educational night thanks to James the Scientist for organising the night for us and a bigger thank you to Greenbank Cubs for allowing us to run the experiments for you.

16.01.2022 27th September, a small number of us were fortunate to have Peter (Parent Helper from Marsden) come down to teach us all about Paracords... but not only did we learn about it we also had the opportunity to make some survival bracelets from them. Check them out in the photos (these are just the basics)! Except the mini monkey fist knot is a bit more advanced lol

16.01.2022 Last but not least, 2nd August we had a planning night where we began plans for many of our upcoming activities and planed some more rover nights. Watch this space for the latest and more of our fun filled adventures yet to be revealed!

15.01.2022 We had a fantastic weekend of hiking. Due to some complications we had to cut our journey short. But all had fun anyway and we shall complete the journey another time. We started at the Booloumba Creek National Park And Camp Ground. Hiked 17kms to the summer falls walkers camp which was supposed to be a 12km day but had to detour due to asmall section of path being closed. At htis camping area we went swimming and had some fun. Then we hiked 17.2kms to the Tallowwood walkers camp which seemed more like 20kms. On the sunday morning we cut out at the fire management trail as there were road closures and path closures, camp site closures and some smallish injuries so we didn't want to risk the apparent 18km day on potentially not having lift back to the main camp.

13.01.2022 Photos from Thursday 22nd Nov 2018... Messy Games Themed night, more videos to be posted at a later time.

13.01.2022 Term planning night made fun, it's not all about sitting around a table sharing thoughts.... we rovers do stuff and got outdoors for a relay quiz game that resulted in completing puzzles.

12.01.2022 Some of the Rovers have been keeping active during these school holidays. We had 4 rovers between Greenbank and Marsden rover crews run the Greenbank RSL meat raffle on Saturday night. Then on sunday morning we had 3 of the greenbank rovers help an older gentleman of whom is unwell to remove a heap of old glass bottles from his place.

12.01.2022 Last night (4/10/2017), we were challenged to get creative! we were required to create a very quick video clips of us all singing/yelling out Happy Birthday (not the whole song!!). Therefore, as seen in photos attached we created our own individual signs (designated letter/symbol) to hold up and spelt 'Happy Birthday'... we were also informed that the crazier, wilder the better! Well we definitely got crazy , who knew how hard it was for Rovers to capture themselves saying... "Happy Birthday" all at the same time while hold up a sign. Why were we challenged to do this you ask? Well here's why... Robert Irwin, our Scout Ambassador has a birthday coming up, Dec 1st. Scouts Qld will be running a bunch of activities at Australia Zoo on the day however we are also looking for Birthday wishes to send to him. Overall we successfully achieved a quick in sync shout out in the end and all had fun getting creative, while decorating our letters/symbols.

11.01.2022 Recently on Monday 24th, a few of us went and ran a science night for the Greenbank Joey's. Everyone involved had a blast. FYI unfortunately no photos were taken due to too much fun being had in the moment!

09.01.2022 We had Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge on 15th July; where we assisted at Check point 11 and helped set up Radios for all the check points. Ps turns out Tamara was the only one who took photos (selfies) on the day.

07.01.2022 On Thursday 27th July, we traveled down to surfers to join the other Region Rovers for dinner at wok'n'rice, then bowling at Timezone. The food was delicious and the games were loads of fun. Thanks again to all those in attendance! #woknrice #GCRegionRovers

06.01.2022 Who needs time to rest after a party night aka St George Ball... this amazing team was up early for a BBQ Fundraise out at the Viking Culture day at MtTamborine. It was cool to see all the people dressed in their Viking outfits.

06.01.2022 On 28/02/18, our crew ‘celebrated’ Clean Up Australia Day early as we scrubbed, swept and mopped the Teviot Scout Den from top to bottom! We even bubbles up the toilets to ensure they became a shining white again.

05.01.2022 Over the weekend Some of the Crew attended the Annual St George’s Ball. For those who don't know... St George’s Ball is the largest formal gathering of QLD Rovers, for a night of celebration and relaxation. Awards are presented for notable and not-so-notable achievements by rovers throughout the year. Therefore we would also like to give a big congratulations to James Jarrett who received the 'Red Red Rover' Award on the night for his Science stem program for Scouting that he has almost finished setting up. We ate, we danced, we socialised, overall it was a lot of fun had by all in attendance.

03.01.2022 27/6/2018 Indoor Rockclimbing, belaying Greenbank Scouts at The Spot.

01.01.2022 On the 2nd of June we had a few of our Rovers attend the Brisbane Kokoda Challenge. We volunteered at check point 1/6. When our checkpoint was to close we packed it up taking the gear to the start/finish unpacked the cars the proceded to help pack up the start/ finish line. Some of our Rovers arrived at 6am saturday and didn't until 2am on the sunday morning.... There was alot of fun had on checkpoint. Encouraging teams towards the finish line and dancing along to music. There was even good food provided by the Indooroopilly/ St Johns Wood rover crews.
