16.01.2022 This morning was another swim around the Jetty with a couple of friends. We do this whenever we can. I usually sign up each year to the official Busselton Jetty Swim. It marks the number of years I have lived in WA after moving from the ACT.. This would have been my 12th.... I have always bought the Tshirt for my dad for his birthday as its a useable collectable. This has become a tradition. He has kept every one and wears them on the streets of Canberra. He is over 80 now but still setting the trends. But this year I didn't get in. Not surprisingly, it was more popular than ever. . So I will create my own tshirt and my own swim. For those interested. I will name a date. This is just a group of people, mostly those that missed out on a place in the original, gathering for a fun swim around the Jetty. If this sounds like you, then turn up. No watches. No swim aids No powered water craft No stand up paddle boards. No team relays. Swim at own risk. No care and no responsibility. If you want your own support kayak, lilo or giant thong, then get organising. If you want photos at the half way point or a light refreshment? Organise that too. This guy is getting an invite.
