23.01.2022 Did you know that you can find out what native plants grow in our area? Google Cardinia Community Compass, type in your address, then look for the plant zones section. This will lead you to the Cardinia indigenous plant guide. These plants will grow best as they are plants adapted to local conditions.

21.01.2022 UPDATE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS We have worked all over summer to keep our plants watered and growing. What a long summer it has been! Hope your gardens have survived. Don't forget to keep your bird baths refreshed with clean water for our feathered friends. What with the dry weather and the roadworks at the milk bar closing Halford Street at times it has been a slow start to the year. Cooler weather and hopefully more rain will mean you can start planting soon.... CLOSED GOOD FRIDAY, but we will be ready to go the Friday after Easter. See you all soon!

19.01.2022 Just an addition on last weeks post about recycling plastic tubes and trays. Please return only the nursery tubes and trays for recycling. Unfortunately someone left a heap of pots and trays that were sourced from elsewhere. They are the wrong size and shape and we cant use them. Recycle these ones in your recycle bins. Thanks

06.01.2022 Garden maintenance during lockdown! Now is the time to remove winter weeds that might be coming up in your garden such as Angled Onion, Asparagus Fern, Bridal Creeper and Ivy. 06.01.2022 Now the weather is cooling down and we have had some rain it is a good time to get planting! Indigo australis has attractive flowers and foliage and will form a nice shrub with pruning after flowering. Open Friday 9 to 4.

02.01.2022 There are some pretty natives flowering in spring. We have these beauties in stock and in flower now. Hovea lanceolata is an attractive shrub up to 2 metres with blue-purple pea flowers. Indigenous to NSW.
