20.01.2022 HOW AWESOME IS WATER Water is critical for your pets health and with the weather warming up a lack of water can quickly lead to dehydration and other health issues. To help keep your pets hydrated in summer please make sure you have LOTS of water available. This means MULTIPLE water bowls (both indoors and outdoors) to keep up with the extra thirst.... TIPS A large bucket is a great way to ensure it doesnt empty fast and doesnt get knocked over. If you find your cat is not drinking enough, consider purchasing cat friendly water aids such as fountains, cats love moving water! Wet food contains approximately 70 percent water. Providing a diet of both wet and dry food can boost your pets hydration. Being creative with iceblocks is a great way to entertain and hydrate your pets . Try adding some pet friendly treats to water then freeze. Yum! DONT FORGET to ALWAYS take water for your pet when out on walks or travelling

The results revealed a foreign object lodged in her intestines Zara was rushed into emergency surgery and Dr Micah removed a Large 2...5cm Rope Toy!! Wow! Zara is doing great and is on her way to making a full recovery Please be aware even items you believe to be safe such as dog toys can quickly become harmful if they are too small for your pet or are frayed and worn. 05.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to our amazing patient on giving birth to 9 healthy boxer puppies Mother and pups are all healthy, cute and cuddly Dr Micah advised that the mums diet should include a puppy food before and after she gives birth. This is beneficial as puppy food is richer in key nutrients and provides more energy than adult food. We also suggested building a nest for mum before she gave birth . This is usually a box placed in a quiet area of the house that is filled... with towels/blankets to keep mum and pups comfortable. Greencross Vets Mandurah can offer a range of information and services to help during your pets pregnancy. Please phone 6500 3013 if you have any questions
