22.01.2022 Being a mother is one of life’s greatest achievements, and we passionately believe that being a vet is the next greatest! In honour of Mother’s Day tomorrow, some of the best new mums and vets tell us what it’s like to navigate the two. Dr. Jessica (Regional Clinical Director and Hugo's Mum) - ... "I think being a vet has helped prepare me for motherhood - late nights, no lunch breaks, being pooped on, and being constantly stressed about what they just put in their mouth! I’m so lucky to have been able to experience both." Dr. Ashlinn (Vet Director & Amelia's Mum) - "I love it! [motherhood] It’s better than I had imagined. Everyday there is a new surprise, a new development, an exciting milestone or a new challenge. Dr. Patricia (Emergency & Critical Care Specialist Animal Referral Hospital & Scarlett's Mum plus pregnant with twins.) "I would have to say being a vet is harder. [than being a mum] I may, however, feel differently when I have three teenage daughters!

22.01.2022 This year has reminded us just how much our loved ones mean to us - and that goes for our pets, too. Before we bid farewell to 2020, we wanted to take the time to express our most heartfelt gratitude to our clients and also our vets and vet nurses who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to keep pets (and their humans) happy, healthy, and safe. A monumental task, undertaken in unprecedented circumstances with immense care. We often hear people say, we couldn’t live without our pets, because of the special kind of love they bring. Well, we think the same goes for our vets and vet nurses. They are true superheroes and we are so thankful for everything they do. More than a Facebook post could ever say. Let's all reach out and give a whole lot of love to your vet team today.
