25.01.2022 Being a stress free accredited clinic means that our patients comfort comes first. We implement many strategies to make our patients calmer and less stressed. This includes pheromone diffusers, lots of treats and stress free handling of your pet. Sometimes our patients need that little bit of extra love and care to feel comfortable. Here is Gypsy and Frankie enjoying some one on one love during their visit for desexing yesterday. Do you think your pet would benefit from extra cuddles during their visit?

20.01.2022 Have you ever suffered from a sore ear? It's the worst, right? If you pet is constantly shaking their heads, scratching their ears or holding their heads to one side... it may be a sign of an ear infection. Find out more here: https://bit.ly/2ITpSye

19.01.2022 Good dental exercise will help to keep teeth and gums clean and healthy. For, probably the first time ever, eating food will be considered exercise. Cats and dogs need foods that are chewy. This will provide friction at the gum-line physically removing plaque before it mineralises and hardens.... Find out more - https://bit.ly/2Ym7m5R

19.01.2022 They seem to always know when food is around, but what's the strangest thing your dog has managed to sniff out. We all know dogs have an incredible sense of smell; but it gets even more amazing. Our WebVets have shared with us that dogs can smell disease. The diseased or cancerous cells secrete different waste products to healthy cells, and the dogs’ nose can detect these tiny differences in smell. Amazing!

17.01.2022 Snake alert! This photo was snapped just the other day at the OSullivan Beach boat ramp. Now that the weather is warming up, the snakes are on the move. Fortunately most snakes are fairly docile and want to avoid pets and their people. Its important to give snakes plenty of space. Unfortunately pets tend to get themselves into trouble when they purposely try to interact with snakes, snakebites can often be fatal so its important to seek veterinary attention ASAP if you think your pet may have been bitten.

12.01.2022 Due to lockdown for the next 6 days, here is a quick overview of our current clinic protocols to keep staff and clients safe when you bring your pets to us: Urgent and non-routine visits only - Please limit visits to ONE owner per pet. - No clients are to enter the clinic unless on exceptional grounds... - If you have any cold or flu symptoms, please do not schedule any visits for your pet/s until your symptoms have gone. - If you are not sure whether a condition is urgent, please phone for advice. - If you have an urgent medical concern for your pet but you have cold and flu symptoms, please discuss this by phone with our staff prior to booking. - If coming to the clinic to purchase food or medication, please phone ahead to order and pay by phone if possible, we can then bring your purchases out to your car. We hope to keep our staff and our clients as safe as we possibly can during these times and understand that it can be a stressful time and thank you all for your understanding.
