05.01.2022 Yesterday, the QLD government introduced legislation to ban plastic straws, stirrers, cutlery and plates/bowls. Subject to public consultation, the ban will i...nclude expanded polystyrene (foam) cups and clamshell containers (pictured). Other states are including polystyrene, and we know Queenslanders want this too. We want to see expanded polystyrene cups and containers included in the ban! According to Clean Up Australia, 44% of all litter is PLASTIC, with plastic takeaway and polystyrene items among the most littered. You can have your say about this. There are only 5 questions. Takes one minute! Say YES to including expanded polystyrene in the ban! Click here: https://bit.ly/3qfueAi Please share to get as many submissions in before it closes.

That way when you go grocery shopping, they are rea...dy to be dropped into the REDcycle soft plastics bin found at any Coles or Woolworths. 2. Small plastic tabs avoid removing these from larger containers as keeping them attached ensures they can be recycled. 3. Use the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) - check for the label before you chuck it 4. Choose products that have the ARL so that you know how to dispose of them correctly. 5.
