These anc...ient fragile ecosystems need protection for their important contribution to mitigating climate change, providing habitat to many rare and endangered species and for their intrinsic value as a globally rare plant community. It is just one of more than 700 native forest areas that Sus Timber Tasmania has in their 3 year plan. A new plan is due out in the coming days. We say drop your plans to log Tasmania's forests and get out. The first of our roving threatened forest occupations has been documenting and monitoring in here over the last few days.
