23.01.2022 Here is one of my designs that has just been completed. This is our new home located in beautiful Anglesea on Victoria's surf coast. The house has been designed to maximise the corner elevation. It is 7.4 stars, solar passive designed with many sustainable features and designed to BAL 29. Now it is time for landscaping to soften the built form. I have the capacity for a couple more clients in 2020 who are looking for something with a smaller ecological footprint and sustainably designed home. The first four images are for a lightweight constructed 7.4 star rated home in Albury Wodonga. The next three images are the slab pour for a BAL 29 rated home excavated into the hill side and constructed using Thermacell blocks with a rating of 7.4 stars. Off grid, water capture and small footprint - nice. Capturing the essence of the original hut. 01.01.2022 Like many of us my thoughts have been with those affected by this summer's disastrous bushfires in many states of Australia. I was concerned for my clients in their new home in Tambo Crossing, in the middle of the East Gippsland fires. I reached out to them to hear how they were affected and offering whatever assistance I could provide, and whilst their paddocks and fences were burnt out, luckily they, their home and their live stock survived.

01.01.2022 In December, our Founder Janine is heading to Torres Del Paine Circuit in Patagonia to experience nature's extremes. She loves seeing glaciers in all their glory and has now witnessed well over 50 throughout Alaska and the Canadian Yukon. Unfortunately due to human induced climate change, our children's children may never experience these majestic frozen land forms. A United Nations study in 2018 found that 95 percent of Chile's 24,100 glaciers had receded.. Some in society ...are frozen by inaction on climate change because they think that governments should lead. But we can all make a change, every single day by reducing our waste to landfill, reducing our power demand, generating renewable energy, taking public transport, walking or riding and being a more conscious consumer. Together, we can make a significant difference.
