20.01.2022 The stunning and unique Empty Oceans Series from Green Embassy is a collection that is timeless and luxurious. While being elegant it is also sustainable. Let me share with you why. This beautiful collection aims to highlight the fragile beauty of ocean ecosystems and marine life and inspires us to protect them. The catalyst for this creation were the environmental problems prevalent in our oceans including pollution, overfishing, ocean warming, killing of marine mammals and... the destruction of coral reef systems. Some of the materials used to create these collections were industrial fishing net production remnants, recycled polyester made of trash, plastic bottles and drift or ghost fishing nets. This Empty Ocean Series was created by Green Embassy as a response to our troubled ocean. Green Embassy has a Zero Waste Policy. We do not throw out any materials and where possible remnant cut off fabric is made into yarn for knitting. Come visit us at www.greenembassy.com.au to see all of our sustainability inspired Collections.
