I CAN STATE CATERGORICALLY THAT NO CUSTOMER ,EMPLOYEE OR OPERATOR OF OUR BUSINESS has covid 19 PLEASE,PLEASE ,DO NOT REPEAT THIS FALSE RUMOUR. 03.01.2022 To all the crazies and confused who seem to be more worried about someone elses perceived wrongdoings you need to settle down.Firstly there is no need or requirement for any houseboat business to be in lockdown and the term "lockdown" really?.If you have chosen this path its your own decision.We can continue our operation with the appropriate checks and balances in place, at this stage.South Australia allows groups of up to 10 with social distancing, on a 170 sq/metre house...boat this is easily achieved. Having said that the largest group on one of our boats is 6. NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE RIVER ? sorry you are wrong, that is interstate. CARS in the COUNCIL carpark? if you go and take down the numbers as one clever punter said you will see all of those cars driving around Waikerie except for 2.Highlighting with a photo on FB a group of unattended cars is rather irresponsible. Without needing to explain ourselves 5 boats each have a local family on them ,the 2 other boats also family from elsewhere (not Adelaide) who brought their entire supplies with them. ESSENTIAL TRAVELis a reccomendation not law.My opinion is that if you have been working and looking forward to your Easter break if you have the chance legally to have a holiday which by its definition is self isolation then it is ESSENTIAL for your own MENTAL HEALTH.I doubt that those on a houseboat are spending much time on social media dissing others See more
