23.01.2022 Today was a beautiful blessing, joining with my lifelong sista Rosie Rose with her art therapy and nature craft at the ECOSS Ecotopia-2021 sustainability festival. A blessing as I remember my own childhood of days enjoyed at the markets (with Rose) creating and playing in nature. And now we are able to create such a space for children to make magical memories in. So many joyous connections, meaningful conversations about taking action to be Earth Warriors for this generation..., the next 7 generations and more to follow. We give thanks to the First Nations of this country that we stand on, the Wurunderji People. Our creative space saw leaf printing, basket weaving, dream catchers/ dream catching fishing rods, nests, head adornings and stick hangings being made all from natural resources. Thank you (again) to Christopher Field for your gathering of the willow for weaving and all the treasures for the sensory species play. Thank you to everyone who came to say hello, create and enjoy being in the space. Stay tuned for what will come next for GreenHeart Forest School. ~forests are for rest~

22.01.2022 Dear Ravi Sommerhalder created this precious ancestry knife for me during 2020 lockdown. I feel so honoured to have his skills and knowledge forged into something so unique and special to me. The vision I had for this knife was taken into the hands and creative mind of Ravi with so much trust and gratitude. With a stone from my Grandfather Murrays collection, a rupee from India with the date 1888 when my great great grandfather Dr Delph Singh from Punjab came to Mudgee NSW ...as a travelling doctor (100 years later in 1988 I was born in the same town with no family ever living their before my parents), to the symbols that are a part of who I am, how I connect to myself, my life experiences and the natural world around me. All this was Ravi's ideas. The vision was more than a vision, it is forged with ancestral lineage that will be treasured always now and my future generations to follow.

21.01.2022 Juliet was honoured to be a mentor at the FIREKEEPERS Autumn bush camp in Riddels Creek in Victoria, during the school holidays. There were many days of exploring the woodlands with the children and families, waking up to the woodland bird songs, initiation games to investigate that were left from the woodland fairies, endless games played, songs sung, sharing stories around the campfires, fire by friction making, helping in the village camp, art workshops, knife carving workshops and many more amazing skill sharing within the village. A place to truly connect to the land of the Wurundjeri People, to honour there connection to country and share our respects to the abundance that surrounds us. Especially all the friendly faces and connections that were made.
