02.01.2022 Today was World Bee Day! We love our little pollinators. Here’s a photo of our hive and little bee food garden (flowering plants- peas, marigolds etc). Sue also wrote a letter to the bees which we shared at the Capital Region Farmers Market, Canberra. The text is also below, for your reading pleasure. ... Dear Bees (+ other bugs!) You are welcome on GREENHILL. We don’t use any pesticides, so no headaches (or worse!) and no herbicides so there are plenty of flowering plants all over the place. We plant special hedgerows with flowers in them that you will love. And, of course, veggies to pollinate so you won’t get bored. The strawberries provide wonderful syrup for you to build up your honey supply for winter. We hope you love your hive. From all of us at GREENHILL.
