25.01.2022 As of 1st of June, Green Lake will be open under certain restrictions. All guests will be required to prove they are self sufficient. This includes toilet and shower facilities. Barbeques will be turned off and Lake ammenties will continue to be locked. Gathering limits still currently apply. ... Guests entering Park must fill out a ‘Guest declaration form’. You can print it out and fill it in before arrival. Form will be available soon. Will have them at the Lake at the new toilet block with fee envelopes . These can go with your fees into the yellow box. Please abide by all restrictions in place. Please do not contact us over these restrictions, as you can look everything up through Victorian Government Website. Thanks, and hopefully we can get back to some normality soon.

23.01.2022 This place is amazing, it’s like a tropical lagoon. Today after all the holiday campers and water skiers have gone it’s sooooo peaceful and relaxing. Oops, time for a cold glass of Rose, cheers!.

23.01.2022 On the back of the recent easing of some COVID-19 restrictions, Council will this week begin making some changes to allow access to our recreational lakes. This... includes removing barriers, updating signage and reopening some toilets. We all know the beauty and benefits of Green Lake, Tchum Lake, Lake Watchem and Wooroonook Lakes. The easing of restrictions means you can visit these lakes, if you have to. Please do not remove or tamper with any physical barriers that may remain at your favourite lake before Council staff make these adjustments. You will be able to visit the lakes from tomorrow. You can use the lakes for fishing, boating and kayaking. The boat ramps will be reopened. You still cannot camp at these lakes and playground equipment will remain closed. Remember that people are only allowed to gather in groups of up to 10 outdoors and you must continue to practice social distancing. #BulokeKind #BulokeSafe #BulokeCaring #BulokeStrong

21.01.2022 We know that the beautiful lakes of Buloke are great to visit. But not now. We are getting reports of holiday makers flocking to Lake Watchem, Wooroonook Lakes..., Green Lake and Tchum Lake. Camping in public spaces is not reducing non-essential travel. Please. You need to go home. You need to stay home. Our rural health services will simply not be able to cope with additional demand should you fall ill. Council is today CLOSING ALL LAKE FACILITIES to deter such undertakings. This closure extends to caravan parks at Donald Lakeside, Travellers Rest and Gordon Park (Charlton), Wycheproof Caravan Park and Sea Lake Caravan Park. Once the threat of COVID-19 has passed, we will be incredibly happy to welcome you back. #BulokeKind #BulokeSafe #BulokeCaring #BulokeStrong

18.01.2022 To the person who has BORROWED the fire pit at the lake in the last few days could you please return ASAP in readiness for campers.

11.01.2022 Green Lake Committee of Management have taken the news from Buloke shire, that they will be shutting the ammenities at the lake. We are also waiting to receive information from DELWP about the closure of Green Lake. At this stage, we have been informed that Green Lake is under the non essential travel. So please, anyone who is planning on staying for the easter holidays, please just isolate and stay home. It will be much safer on country communities and to try stop the spread of covid-19.

11.01.2022 DELWP have now confirmed that the Lake and surrounds are now closed as of 11.59pm tonight. The entrance will be closed off, and if anyone notices any gatherings, you are required to ring Victoria Police. Hope everyone stays safe and isolated. Thanks.
