25.01.2022 A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.
25.01.2022 Each childs art is unique and follows a universal pattern of development. All children go through the same stages, but the age at which this happens varies. The first stage is experimenting where young children learn how to make marks or scribbles on paper. The objective here is to see what they can do through practice and repetition.

20.01.2022 Today is R U OK DAY? If you feel like somethings not quite the same with someone you know theres something going on in their life or you notice a change in what theyre saying or doing - trust that gut instinct and take the time to ask them Are you OK? If someone says theyre not OK, make time to listen, encourage action and check in. That conversation could change, or even save, their life.

13.01.2022 This week we celebrated a traditional Indian day. If one festival embodies the Hindu family value of filial responsibility, it is Raksha Bandhan. Otherwise known as Rhaki, after the bracelet that a sister ties to her brothers wrist during this day of celebration, Raksha Bandhan is an ancient tradition. Its purpose is to honour the relationship between brother and sister, symbolising a sisters need of his protection, and his duty to defend her. The children across the centre made bracelets and bouquets for each other and with the help of Miss Purvi we learnt more about this amazing tradition.
