25.01.2022 At Green Leaves Richlands our Junior Kindy children have been working very hard on their fine motor skills. The children moulded the playdough into all different types of sculptures and manipulated the playdough with the utensils that was laid out on to the table. Fine motor skills are involved in smaller movements that occur in the wrists, hands, fingers, feet and toes. They involve smaller actions such as picking up objects between the thumb and finger, writing carefully, and even blinking. These two motor skills work together to provide coordination.
