17.01.2022 Loose parts play is a type of play that supports invention, divergent thinking, problem-solving and offers a sense of wonder to children. They are materials that can be moved, carried, combined, redesigned, lined up, and taken apart and put back together in multiple ways. Here, the children in Toddler 1 were given a donated cardboard tube to explore and they created a car tunnel run using the ledge of our cubby house. They used their imagination, teamwork, cooperation and coordination throughout this experience.

14.01.2022 We are understanding basic science and math in the Toddler room by transferring sand into various sized containers. In this activity, we are using hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to pour and transfer sand.

The children LOVED self-serving their meals and eating their scrumptious nachos featuring Chef Tys freshly made salsa and nacho mince. Throughout our new Spring menu, we will have lots of opportunities for the children to develop their independence through self-service of meals, with the help of our trusted educators!
