23.01.2022 Quick reminder of Entry and Exit times. It is important that we all follow the Covid plan that is in place at all times. PLEASE do not go under the ropes to get to where you want to be. This plan, while may feel inconvenient at times, is in place for all our safety and ensure the continuation of the competition. Do you want to be the reason that no one can play?

23.01.2022 Well done Inner West - Leading the way in Covid Safety

22.01.2022 Please respect our grounds and either put your rubbish in the bin or take it with you. We know that most of you do this and we thank you for it. This is particularly directed to the group of parents that are at the grounds on a Tuesday night, who are enjoying a coffee near Cook Ave. We have been asked by the residents to remind you to please not leave your rubbish behind when you leave as they are the ones who need to clean it up.

21.01.2022 The NSW Goverment has announced that as of July 1 we have moved to Level C of Community Sport guidelines. In their statement Netball NSW advise that it has been determined that COVID-19 is most likely spread through direct close contact with a person while they are infectious (usually face to face contact for at least 15 minutes; or being in the same enclosed space for at least 2 hours). With the majority of community level netball played outdoors, the risk of infection throu...gh playing sport is minimal, and now with the rate of infection greatly reduced, it is time to cautiously reintroduce community netball competitions. The following changes have been implemented to the Greenlees Covid plan. Training sessions extended to 55 mins. We do ask that players continue to not arrive more than 15 mins before training and picked up as soon as their session is completed. Full Training sessions inc defensive skills and match play are now allowed. Coaches will continue to follow guidelines around hand sainitser and cleaning of equipment between each training session and game. If you have an questions or concern please contact Allayne or Amy

10.01.2022 Many of you would have seen the announcement about the an increase to the number of spectators allowed at community sports. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR IWSNA THIS SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER? While the number of parents guideline has changed, the requirement to adhere to the 500-person limit per zone remains the same therefore... - There will be NO change to the game times or the Get In/Get Out process - There will be NO change to the court sectioning - There will be NO change to the number of spectators on the Asphalt courts - The number of spectators on the Modified Grass courts can increase by 2 people per team No other changes will occur and compliance with our Safety Plan is required on our last day of Winter competition

We... hope that you and your families have been and continue to remain safe and well through this unprecedented time. Thank you to all members who responded to our recent survey. We appreciate the support of our Netball community and with a 68% response rate we are confident that our plans reflect the needs and wants of our members. Return to netball Inner West will continue to follow the advice from Netball NSW which is in line with Federal and State Government bodies. It is critical that we comply at all times restrictions placed on our sport are not negotiable. Acting responsibly and following all safety instructions must be our priority. At this stage the current Public Health Orders, includes training in maximum groups of 10 people and following the recommended physical distancing measures of 1.5 metres. The Association and Clubs are working with their local Councils to ensure approvals are in place to train and protocols are in force in relation to entrance and exit points, numbers, sanitisation stands, hygiene, etc. The current Public Health Order restricts full training sessions before 30 June 2020. We will continue to update all clubs as and when these restrictions are lifted.
