21.01.2022 Just to update you on how we @greenlife_turf are going after the recent floods. The last 2 weeks have been hectic trying to get things back to normal, Cleaning the debris of our farms, the mud out of the sheds & office. ... There is still a lot of work to be done on the farms fixing all the damages this flood has caused & I'm sure there will be plenty more late nights to come. Fortunately this past week we have started to harvest turf from our Flood Free farm in the Hunter Valley. This farm was purchased as part of our business plan for an event like this. This flood free land ensure we can continuing suppling turf to our customer and keep our staff in jobs. We have been working long days/nights to save some of our matured stocks that where effected by the floods. Some of the staff even spending their long weekend on the farm cleaning & manicuring some of our paddocks. Due to this we managed to save some matured turf stock in which we started to harvest this week. Unfortunately not all of our paddocks were this lucky, we have lost a decent amount of matured stock that will take some time to remature, but we will be working around the clock to ensure these paddocks are replanted and matured promptly. I wanted to share some photos of the flood waters 2 weeks ago in which you can see how high the water got. Also the aftermath of the silt and mud that the water leaves behind, & how some of our farms are looking today. 16.01.2022 To All Our Valued Customers, Thank you to all those who have contacted us to see how we are all going. All of our Staff are safe and well. Just to update you all on our current situation, our office and some of our farms are under flood waters. We will not know the outcomes of the pontential damage caused from the flood untill the water starts to receed, which could take a week or so. Our higher farms & Singleton farm have not been affected by any flooding so once the rains... stops and paddocks dry up we will be able to harvest turf for any orders you may need. In the meantime you can email or call to place your order in which we will keep you updated on potential delivery times. Here are some photos of our office and farms at the moment.
