25.01.2022 Fork off single-use with our reusable FORK

25.01.2022 Some good news came out of Aotearoa last week. The NZ Government has plans to phase out more single-use and problem plastics to reduce waste and protect the environment announced Associate Minister for the Environment. The proposals are to phase out some hard to recycle PVC and polystyrene and oxo- degradable plastic products. Seven single-use plastic items, including plastic straws, drink stirrers, produce bags, TABLEWARE INCLUDING PLASTIC PLATES, BOWLS AND CUTLERY, and no...n-compostable fruit stickers. The ban of all the single-use items will take place over the next 5 years. Yew! Time to take our reusable plates and co across the ditch? We think so.

25.01.2022 We are a bit chuffed and overly grateful to be featured in Time Out Melbourne amongst so many other great businesses and organisations doing pretty cool things. To be featured in such an important article of 41 ways to live more sustainably in Melbourne reminds us of the huge impact the reusable plates and co will make to events and their sustainability. Give it a read https://digitalarchive.timeout.com//March//DVL/reader.html

23.01.2022 Rest assured weve done the research and Covid-19 doesnt effect our reusable system. By simply washing the dishes in hot water and dishwashing detergent and/or dishwasher will keep us all safe and sound. So no excuses not to keep our healthy too

17.01.2022 You asked, we listened! We had a lot of requests by events for a smaller plate and bowl to cater for the smaller portions. These minis will be serving up small fries, ice-cream, cupcakes and everything else that is deliciously on the smaller side

16.01.2022 The event season may have been cut short but virtual high fives are in order to everyone who have so far eaten off of a GMP plate... Weve had a 100% return rate which means everyone has done their bit and returned their plate for us to wash and reuse. LEGENDS

16.01.2022 Were creating jobs in sustainability which is exactly what this needs right now to #buildbackgreener Events which choose to shift their investment from rubbish crew picking up litter to dishwashers washing plates is a simple switch to creating jobs with a sustainable focus, which also leaves a cleaner event site and less waste disposed to landfill. A win for the economy and a win for the planet! If you havent already, check out our recent blog on how events can rebuild towards a more sustainable future

14.01.2022 Were thrilled to be featured on The Worlds Most Rubbish Directory! 10.01.2022 Keen to be a part of a sustainable solution for the events industry? Were seeking casual staff for a very cool event in the Melbourne CBD. If youre hard working, good with high pressure environments and dont mind a few dishes wed love to hear from you

10.01.2022 A blog for the planet Weve put together seven reasons why events should be moving towards sustainable solutions so we humans are no longer compromising the health and future of our planet. This is such an important pivoting moment, where we hope events take the time to educate themselves on the current environmental crisis we are facing and ways to best operate with as little impact as possible. If youre in the event industry please please please give this a read. If not..., we also highly encourage you to read, educate yourself and start discussions with your local council and favourite events on how you would like to see the world and event industry spinning greener. Its time we all band together and build back greener

03.01.2022 Regretfully we didnt take a photo of the aftermath of the Grill For Good event we washed the dishes for earlier this year and only got this one (which if you look closely no rubbish in sight). Trust us when we say the site was spotless from any rubbish and was left as it was found. The way it should be. #buildbackgreener #leavenotrace

03.01.2022 One thing that differentiates our reusable service to others is having our three Co-founders work in the event industry. So we understand all the ins and outs. We thought wed get to know them a bit better... starting with Jess
