25.01.2022 Welcome to the world little wildlife warrior Grace Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors

25.01.2022 https://www.facebook.com//a.43276131674/4422901901060983/ We will open , we just don't know when at this stage ,ít is one of those things that is frustrating but also we need to be safe in this environment . This year has sure been challenging for all of us , so when we do finally get together, i am sure its going to be wonderful . Just to clarify the reason we are waiting until stage 5 is because we have too many hands on experiences contactable surfaces here feeding the... animals/holding them and can’t keep an eye on everyone and hope they do the right thing in terms of social distancing . One of the rules of opening under stage 4 is that Animal encounters/interactive experiences can only be facilitated where physical distancing and hygiene can be maintained. Because of the nature of our park We can’t safely do this . We apologise but want to do things right by the public , our animals and ourselves . Thanks for your understanding & support. See more

24.01.2022 All the animals are safe .. We made it thru the cyclone with damage and destruction to Avairies , trees and some fences and shelters down . Lucky the kangaroos who lost a fence didn’t move , except for Talbot who was happy to be carried home . Thanks to Ashley , Anton and the amazing Laura who turned up to help us with clean up without even being asked they were just here when the red alert was lifted . We have had no wifi or mobile coverage & just got wifi connection runnin...g. Any questions in regards to opening will be posted on here but for now we are Closed .. Lots of cleaning up has already started . Places around us have lost a lot of sheds and buildings so we are very lucky .. It was the loudest scariest winds and the animals outside would of been petrified, checking everyone of them over and seeing they were ok was like a weight of our chests .. Thankful and our thoughts are with others who have lost so much more Thanks for all your care and support, reading these messages have gave us a lot of smiles ..

18.01.2022 Today was the hardest day ever at the wildlfie park , we evacuated the animals as a bushfire was approaching the park . Racheal our hero was wetting everything down as we got there and she had alerted us to the fire being so close.. I called Angela a mate in town and asked if she could gather some crew to come help us evacuate the animals immediately..we started catching every bird and reptile and placing them in enclosures / wetting down the park until car loads of people fr...om Geraldton Dog Rescue and Midwest Marsupial Carers INC turned up to take the animals into town where the crew from GDR have put them up overnight . We are so overwhelming thankful for the support of horse floats the phone calls the messages etc & the community’s support at this time . The firefighters and volunteers the water bombers , you saved our lil sanctuary . It’s been a long day and the fire is contained and we are safe , most importantly our much loved animals are safe . Thank you will never be enough for what you did for us ..your all legends in our eyes and so very amazing. The Midwest has some beautiful people in it and we are so lucky to be part of this community See more

16.01.2022 https://www.abc.net.au//wa-phase-five-delayed-unt/12488742 Opening of Park has now been delayed until late August - Due to these regulations in place we cannot afford to open and expect people to keep Distancing rule , the fine alone would take us down for good.... The 2 square metre rule would Allow 5 people in the kangaroo enclosure at once and we Do not have the resources to police this properly. For our safety and yours we will Open as normal when stage 5 has been announced . We Apologise for any inconvenience but we have to be realistic about what we can and can’t do with limited staff and funds . Thanks for the understanding ...the team at GWP See more
