Can not remember the last time I even had so much as a sniffle I felt so bad that I had no excuse but to rest, which does not come naturally to me as I am a go go go girl ! I think that sometimes if we don’t listen to our body it makes the decision for us, to just slow down, rest and recharge !! 11.01.2022 Chicken in Traditional Chinese Medicine is considered a HEATING food. If you think about a chicken it’s busy busy busy and add to that the terrible conditions that farmed chickens are raised in and all of the heating grains that are pumped into them to make them grow faster, then no wonder chicken is considered a high allergenic food !!! Of course it can be fine for lots of dogs but if you have a dog that suffers from any skin allergies, eliminate chicken completely from the ...diet and see what happens ! This includes treats too. Even one little chicken treat is enough to cause a flare up so read your labels carefully! I would use beef , kangaroo and fish for these itchy dogs and stay away from processed treats and dry food as it nearly always contains chicken meal amongst other yukky things This also applies for a hypo dog ! If you have a full on go go go dog, chicken is only going to hype them up more, stick to the more cooling and grounding meats as above and avoid dry food like the plague as it is loaded with preservatives and colourings and starchy grains that convert to sugar and sent your dog a bit nuts So many little things we can do to help our dogs just by adjusting their diets and therefore avoiding giving drugs which don’t fix the problem when we are still feeding the problem, literally!!! #healthyhappydogs See more
