20.01.2022 Hi everyone. Well as you may have noticed, our 27 March event with SOUNDCHECK has been cancelled in light of this damned Coronavirus. Were being inundated with messages asking if we will be closing our doors and the short answer is, we really dont know. For us to keep our doors open, we would need to make some major changes which would include the strict management of patron numbers to comply with the latest restrictions. We do have a couple of ideas, but we need to determi...ne if theyre economically viable and, of course, we dont want to be vilified for providing a place for social gatherings, even if we do implement strict procedures and provide enough space for "social distancing". We would love to continue to provide a place for people to be with their mates and dance, provide at least some hours to our awesome staff and, of course, try and cover some of our ongoing bills. So tell us...would you even entertain the idea of "socialising"? Or are we being ignorant by still providing something in light of the circumstances even if we cap numbers, provide a spacious environment, change our drink serving practices, and have an abundance of sanitising products available for use? We would love your feedback, which may help us to make a decision, so feel free to share with us what you think. Thanks guys See more

20.01.2022 For everyone asking... doors open 9pm Entry is $10 You do not require a ticket... doors will stay open for entry until around 3am If you get here at say 10 and the line up is to Centrelink you will be looking at a minimum 2-3hr wait to get in due to covid capacity restrictions... please try and stagger your entry times to avoid disappointment in lining up on behalf of everyone at Green’s hotel happy new year and we hope to see everyone out to have a safe an happy night

15.01.2022 Due to a few embarrassed individuals worried about their public reputation being tarnished..we have taken the recent vandalism video down. Something about legality of being portrayed as a bad person on cctv. Moving forward all we ask is for people to have a bit of respect for our property, everything costs money... from drinking straws, cups, chairs, toilets ect... vandalism is a deviating blow to any business financially and emotionally. 04.01.2022 Hi all - Firstly, we wish to say thank you to those of you who provided feedback to our earlier post, by either commenting or sending a private message. It is very much appreciated. We can advise that well be open for day trade however, regretfully we will be closed this Friday and Saturday night. Were currently in the process of looking at ways we can provide a venue for people to enjoy whilst observing the restrictive measures that have been and may continue to be introdu...ced. Were currently taking advice from the Tasmanian Hospitality Association, as Im sure many venues are, on how to move forward. Before opening our doors to you all, we just want to make sure we cover all bases and ensure we have a safe, well equipped environment, which will include a reduction in the number of people that can be in our premises at any one time. Thank you for your understanding. To be honest (and blunt), this is all a bit shit, but we hope you have a great weekend and well be sure to keep you posted on developments. See more

04.01.2022 What a weekend!! After 7 long months of being closed, we were overwhelmed by how well everyone was able to cope with the current restrictions in place on our first weekend of opening. We are very grateful to have so many valued customers We look forward to seeing everyone again this weekend

03.01.2022 Just to give everyone a heads up.... we will not be opening as yet under current restrictions outlined. Having no dancing and patrons to be seated wouldnt be a viable way to run a nightclub. Fingers crossed these restrictions are gone within the coming weeks.
