It’s autumn in our subtropics but the fastest, easiest plants to grow yourself and use as soon as possible are your leafy greens spinach, wild rocket, silverbeet, celery, warrigal greens, kale and then snow peas and sugar snap peas and beans. You can even grow microgreens in your own kitchen that are packed full of nutrients Quick fruiting trees to buy now and have fruit for spring/summer are papayas (plant away from the house), passion fruit, banana, mango and berries I currently have x2 red sweet papaya trees, x3 passion fruit, x2 kale, x2 spinach, x2 celery and broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, carrot, chilli, tropic tomato, dill, chives, catnip, sage, lemongrass, capsicum, parsley, calendula and mornings tree. 06.01.2022 The @gcorganicmarket will still be on tomorrow and the weekend to come until officials say otherwise. There is a hand wash station, every stall will be wearing gloves with hand sanitiser available for customers at each stall and a restriction on the numbers of people allowed in the market. However I won’t be there! I have sold out of essential autumn seedlings, I have more growing in new trays that will have different pricing when I’m back in a few months (good timing right...? ) and the organic soil is also selling out and I keep restocking. So all orders are now online until I’m fully restocked. And I have organic soil available anytime until/if we get locked down in the future. So if you’d like to start a garden and become self sustainable! Build those garden beds! Buy those big pots! And come get some soil! I also have minerals, and perhaps some compost left but will need to dig through the pile of bags in storage. I won’t take any preorders this year as we don’t know when or if lockdown will happen in Australia. So for now, you can checkout what’s left in stock on the website and get your soil beds ready. For now I do Gold Coast deliveries for $15 and free Click and Collect at our location in Upper Coomera.
