Because if it's not with a big cosy hand knitted winter scarf to keep you toasty warm (cos you're in the Southern Hemisphere and it hasn't even cracked 3 degrees out just yet), delicious smoking sage to gently smudge your sleeptime energy away (cos we release so much while we're asleep and do not need to jump back into those sheets and that lingering energy each night), and a big assed glass of the Vitality Elixir from the fabulous Alchemy range (cos it's crafted by the wise and talented @nourishedandnurtured and anything from her hugs your body and makes it come alive) then get on it! 13.01.2022 Ahead of tomorrow's New Moon and all that new beginnings offer us, especially within this potent lunar month, I thought I would share this incredibly heartbreaking yet courageous post. Emmy was not someone I knew well but we danced in and out of the same rugby circles when I worked in the UK for London Wasps. While it was only a smile that we shared here and there everything that Jake says in his post is exactly how she felt to me. You could say I had a girl crush on her and... am so sad to hear of her passing. Emmy was 31 years old. An earth angel who has indeed returned to her kind. On a night when you might be snuggling and getting cosy (in the Southern Hemisphere anyway, brrrrrr) perhaps you'd like to take note of Jake's beautiful words... 'make me this promise. Go out. Go to your husband or your wife. Your partner or your lover. Tell them that you love them. Embrace them. Hold them that little bit longer. Squeeze them that little bit tighter. Whisper sweet nothings and try to forget, just for a moment, those small irrelevant worries. You're only here in this world for the shortest time and you never know when it might all disappear.' We don't all have people to share these words with but we have ourselves. Choose you. Love you. And let life in. RIP beautiful Emmy. You indeed touched so many hearts xox
