05.01.2022 Jake has had an action packed week or so! First off he flew to Perth and competed in the AMIC National Apprentice of the Year, and after completing 2 days of theory and practical tests, came an impressive 2nd. Back home, he was the only apprentice to compete against Tasmanian qualified butchers, with multiple years experience, in the Young Butcher Challenge, and placed 3rd, earning him the opportunity to try out for the Australian representative team of butchers who will trav...el overseas and compete in the World Butcher Challenge. Well done Jake, awesome work!
