19.01.2022 WOW that a morning it was a FRESH one that’s for sure Greenstone Health Karate had its August Beach training sessions. Always a great experience training in the elements, it’s an amazing feeling to better ourselves physically, mentally and build character. Sometimes we need to step out of our comfort zone to really move forward. There’s so much scarcity around at the moment it’s good to get back to basics and connect with nature. Thank you to the adults for attending and showing commitment to your physical, mental health & Karate training. The kids loved it! they definitely kept me on my toes, I’m so proud of everyone that came along, I appreciate the parents for making the commitment to bring the kids to experience our beach training, they gain so much from it. 05.01.2022 We did an outdoor workshop with the Greenstone Karate kids today. Turumakina and I worked them hard with basics, push-ups & wrestling drills. Tradition to me is not letting go of the Old Ways even though the classes are strict & challenging it’s so rewarding for the kids when they finish their Karate class. A big thank you to Tu & Senpai Jason for help your support guys, I appreciate you and am very grateful to know you both. To the adults tonight that was HEARTY 12 rounds on the pads I was a little shakey & rattled at the end but wouldn’t have it any other way. 01.01.2022 Today’s Kid’s Karate class was a test for them. We did 100’s of Punches, Blocks & Kicks. We also did 100 push-ups. I had a chat to the kids about why we must keep moving forward and to sometimes do things we don’t particularly like to grow. These days it’s too easy to just stop doing things, give up and not make an effort. As parents it’s no different! so proud of the kids that trained today...I’m very blessed to be teaching them.
