23.01.2022 The electrotechnology industry is in good hands with our amazing apprentices! NECA QLD State Winner Thomas Borthwick took out the Communications Category. Thoma...s has spent his apprenticeship with Stowe Australia and NECA Electrical Apprenticeships. His willingness to learn, excellent work ethics and reliability, has made him an asset to Stowe Australia. During his apprenticeship, one of the many projects Thomas worked on was the Public Safety Network Upgrade Rollout. This involved him putting in place wireless installs, building rewires and making rack upgrades. Tim Peterson was the State Winner in the Commercial/ Domestic Category. Tim was employed by NECA Electrical Apprenticeships and had been hosted by Greenswitch Electrical for the majority of his apprenticeship. Tims professionalism and ability to foster strong customer relationships, made him a valuable member to Greenswitch Electrical. In 2016 during his 2nd year of apprenticeship, Tims impressive performance was recognised and he had the opportunity to represent Queensland in the National World Skills Competition. Good luck to Thomas and Tim at next months National awards!
