22.01.2022 A massive thank you to all the book lovers who called by last evening at our combined local author's and illustrator's stall at the Rotary Strand Markets. Without your support we wouldn't have much to do ... or reason for doing it. It is always a buzz hanging out with local talent: Magical Matt Lewis of Gecko Tales (Killer Whales Don't Eat Kale), Krissy Regan, The Wellness Poet (From Broken to Unbreakable), Margie O'Hara - Elly Rose Adventures and Kerry Spina. There was also a surprise meetup with two more local author stalwarts, Lori and Peter Hurst. Keep reading and loving those books. See you at COTTERS on Sunday.

It really is the best place to chill out, check out local produce and, of course, ease into an alfresco coffee seat with, maybe some live jazz. We are outside Hotel Grand Chancellor- 8am to 1pm and lòoking forward to seeing you.

There was a time this year when it looked as if he would not make it at all into the hands of our eager readers. However with some creative thought, help from All Clear, Townsville-based printers and the magic brushs of illustrator Sabine Carter, we are delighted to now offer Rodney the Unicorn Fish Who Lost His Way to Aussie readers.... Rodney's official launch will be at Cotters Market, Townsville CBD this Sunday, 13th December 8.00am - 1.00pm. You can pick up your copy of this 2020 Queensland Limited Edition (only one hundred copies orinted) at our stall outside Townsville's iconic Hotel Grand Chancellor. See you there.

Sabine Carter, 'Rodney's' talented illustrator and designer has been hard at work, continuing to bring Rodney and his friends on the Great Reef to 'life'. We look forward to keeping you more up to date over the coming months. In the meantime, keep reading yourself and keep reading to your children. They really need it right now.
