24.01.2022 Some curious customers asked the significance of Hinamatsuri (the Doll's Festival -pictured below) which is coming up on 3rd March. I didn't know it, so I googled and found: Japanese Girls' Day - also known as the Doll's Festival is celebrated on March 3 to pray for the health and happiness of young girls in Japan. Hina dolls are displayed hierarchically with the emperor and empress at the top. You need to put the dolls away as soon as the festival is over- there is a superstition that if the dolls are left out, a family will have trouble marrying off their daughters.

18.01.2022 Hi New season's tea has arrived today. (Sencha, Fukamushi, green,grassy type) We will slowly open the shop starting this Saturday 16th May from 10:30am until 1pm. We can not get all the tea we want due to Japan Post which stopped the international mail service. We live in a new, different world to which we need to adjust. Enjoy the new world!

08.01.2022 Hi, we got new organic Gyokuro (sweet & fresh taste) and organic Genmaicha with Matcha. New crop, Shincha (Fukamushi, Pink & Blue label) will arrive around 8th of May, 2021. This is the beginning of new season's tea. This is the freshest tea with strong aroma.
