23.01.2022 Thank-you to all those direct members of CCA who voted for my appointment. I am honored to be able to serve the beef industry. I am committed to creating a clear sustainable path to profitability in the beef industry. Being part of a unified industry with a proud reputation with a strong, effective national voice for the beef industry and agriculture is part of my vision for Australia's future.... In the role as Independent Northern Director for the Cattle Council of Australian, I represent the spectrum of 46,000 beef producers who make up this vast industry, from family to corporate businesses. David Hill has acted tirelessly on behalf of industry, and I rejoice knowing he will continue to offer his skills and experience to CCA. I look forward to working with Markus and the board. We have a lot of work to do this year. It is time for restructure and to ramp up our game. Do this effectively, we need industry support. How can you help? An open call process is underway to capture the interest of people involved in the beef industry wanting to be on CCA’s Pilot Policy Council and/or the Policy Working Groups....
