21.01.2022 Congratulations to Under 14s Division 1 star Levi Carton who scored a superb maiden 50 in our semi final on Friday night. His 53 runs came off just 24 balls with 50 runs coming from boundaries (5 sixes and 5 fours). Well done Slurp!

20.01.2022 Hume Council Elections The Hume City Council Elections are commencing NOW. Many of you will have received your Ballots to vote by mail in the last day or two. Votes have to be returned by Friday 23 October 2020 Adem Atmaca has nominated for the Meadow Valley Ward- ie the Ward that covers the Greenvale township. Adem has been on Council before and has been the Mayor of the City. Adem, as much as anyone, and over a long period of time, supported the Football and Cricket Clubs.... He was instrumental in supporting the construction of the Second Oval, the Turf Training Nets, the Social Club and the Pavilion at the Second oval etc. His support for the various projects in the pipeline may be critical. I will be voting for Adem Atmaca by placing 1 in the box beside his name and then carefully numbering each of the other boxes 2-20. You have to number each of the 20 boxes. It is open for everyone to vote for the candidates of his or her preference as they see fit. Literature has been distributed by many of the candidates- some of which specifically refers to Greenvale and Sport at the Greenvale Recreation Reserve Geoff Porter has decided not to nominate for Council in the forthcoming election. Our lads will be looking to finish their final home game of the year with a win but it won't be an easy task against a Dragons team looking to rebound from recent losses. ... Game starts at 11am. 16.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Following the State Governments announcement of a 5 day lockdown ALL CRICKET this weekend is cancelled. This includes our Premier Cricket game scheduled to be played against Casey-South Melbourne Cricket Club.... The round will be abandoned and points will be shared between clubs. We will announce further updates around training and next week's games when available

16.01.2022 HOWZAT Another great weekend for the Premier Firsts as we picked up the win over Frankston Peninsula Cricket Club today. Following a fantastic century by Josh Trembearth, we set the hosts 200 to win. ... After having them 5/59 early we had a few nervous moments as a partnership formed between Dew and Gardner before Darcy Bell broke the partnership. 09.01.2022 The Club is pleased to inform all players, parents and members, that late today, the club received formal notification from Hume City Council, that we can commence training on our allocated grounds, subject to the strict COVID regulations. During the coming days, the club will work with the relevant coaches on the allocation of days, times and grounds for training for their respective teams.
